I get a lot of the same questions over and over and over again 😄 So I thought I'd put together a FAQs here, make it easier to find that info!

BTW, don't feel bad if you've messaged me and asked me one of these questions before. I am pretty chatty and don't really mind. I just want it to be easier on you guys!

Do you take commissions?

I do not, sorry! I think the best place to find commissions right now is bluesky, personally(and if you're gonna join bluesky anyway, give me a follow, ehehe!)

Will you draw me naked / draw x piece with y characters / take requests?

Nope!

Are you super horny every time you start drawing? How do you ever get anything done?

No, LOL. There are some parts of the process that can be arousing. Idea generation kinda rules, and sketching sometimes is pretty awesome too! But that's really only a small piece of the work. Here, try this "digital artist" simulation I came up with:

1. Open any program you can draw in, Microsoft Paint is fine.
2. Using a pen and tablet if you have it, but mouse is fine too, draw a line.
3. Press ctrl + Z on your keyboard.
4. Redraw that same line.
5. Repeat steps 3 - 4 four times.
6. Now your optimism is starting to wear off. Mumble to yourself, "what the fuck is going on with you today? c'mon, [your name]."
7. Repeat steps 3 - 4 eight more times, this time mumble to yourself, "this is really bad--actually, the idea in the first place was super cringe. No one is going to want to see this. Everyone is going to think you're a hack and a bad artist when you post this."
8. Repeats steps 2 - 7 over and over for anywhere from eight to 24 hours.
9. Look at the beautiful line you just drew. Do you love it? Are you sick of looking at it? Why did it take you so long to draw this!? Everyone else could have finished it well before you did, honestly. And you have the gall to wonder why no one supports you on patreon, subscribestar, or fanbox...

Okay, I'm exaggerating a little! But drawing takes a REALLY long time, and almost every single time, by the time I'm done, I am really sick of looking at a piece, and I feel self-conscious about how it turned out. So, could you do me a favor and please enjoy everything I post twice as much as you would have otherwise? I really want you to enjoy it for BOTH of us, lol!

Do you get a lot of weird messages??

What inspired you to start drawing hentai?

When did you start drawing?

I've been drawing about as long as I could hold a pencil! I really don't even remember starting. The earliest thing I can remember drawing was from a Disney movie when I was in kindergarten, ehe!

Okay, but what, specifically, made you switch to drawing porn? And when?

To be honest it's kinda hard to draw a line between hentai and nonhentai sometimes! When I was first allowed to play video games, a lot of characters just walked around dressed like this:

Like, at that point, what's the difference between drawing a pin-up art and regular mainstream stuff? And where's the line between a pin-up drawing and hentai? I don't really know! Plus I used to suck! All artists suck at first. So that made it even more difficult to tell what the heck I was going for when I look back.

I definitely started experimenting drawing sexier stuff when I was a teenager, so, there ya go!

What kind of kinky stuff are you into IRL?

I don't really talk about my RL sex life online.

Do you tell potential partners that you draw hentai?

I've been married for a long time now. He knows, ehe.

Do you look like your OC / mascot devil girl irl?

I don't think anyone looks like that IRL!

Who is your mascot? Where did she come from?

Her name is Emilie! Which is also my name. She was originally an OC of mine for online role plays and stuff, probably one of the first OCs I ever made. She's definitely what I thought I wanted to be like when I was a teenager. I've way outgrown that now. She's kind of a ditz, and I'm not, and I like the way I am. But I still love the character very much!

Me? A ditz?? So she makes a great mascot for my brand. But please don't confuse her for me! We just have the same name.

Do you draw your own sexual fantasies, or are you drawing to make other people happy?

I wouldn't say I'm drawing my own fantasies exactly. I don't actually want to kidnap anyone or be held at gunpoint. I think those things are bad, and a lot of these things I'm drawing can't actually happen because they involve monsters and stuff that don't exist.

I don't do commissions or requests generally, though! Okay, one small exception I'll address next. But in the mean time, know that if I drew it, I probably found it interesting, even if I wouldn't call it a fantasy of mine. Sometimes I just like to tell really intriguing stories that are also horny. Think of my work as being like any other piece of media--we don't necessarily assume that Lana and Lilly Wachowski actually want to live in the apocalypse dominated by machines who use them as Duracells, nor do we think that Capcom devs want to live in a world overrun by mutated zombie monsters.

If you don't do requests, how come I've seen you take some before?

I do sometimes do stuff I wouldn't normally do in exchange for donations to charities I'm fundraising for. If you have reddit, you can see the most recent example (as of writing) of that here.

So is this your fulltime job? How much money do you make doing this?

I actually make very little money doing this! I've never made more than $100 a month, so, definitely not enough to live on, LOL. If you wanna help change that, you can consider supporting me on patreon, subscribestar, or fanbox... I'd be eternally grateful! But no pressure of course!
