Zoe hates slimy things!
This is another old artwork that I think still holds up okay! This character has gone through a couple of revisions. I definitely draw her differently now. She usually has darker skin and brown eyes. The ponytail and glasses have stayed though! Zoey can still remember the first time she encountered a gross, slimy thing: a slug in the front yard. She ran away screaming into the arms of her overprotective adoptive parents, who indulged her drama and reassured her she'd never need to see something so gross ever again. They even helped get her out of dissecting snails in a college class many years later, thanks to a generous donation. Unfortunately for Zoe, her "real" mother was a low-ranking cult member of an order that worships tentacle covered slug-like demons, and they've been looking for her long lost daughter....
