Happy Halloween! 🖤🧡👻 I originally finished this piece in October of 2024, and within a few months I didn't like it anymore. That's kind of the double edged sword of growing as an artist. It was a huge bummer, like, more than the normal disappointment in outgrowing old art because I worked so hard on it. It took multiple rewrites just to get the text right. Writing in Wesker's douchey voice is kind of hard, especially because he's not consistent from game to game (no Resi character is), so I had to try to pick a tone in the middle so that people will recognize it as him. And then I was really pushing myself artistically by drawing some things I don't usually (lots of medical equipment), and at the same time I was going through some major overhauls of my art style. I was pretty good at drawing head-on, but this project required me to draw characters from multiple perspectives and angles. As a result, Rebecca turned out really weird-looking in a lot of panels. ...

I found some really good references to practice threesomes so I took the opportunity to put my favorite Resident Evil character in a DP situation. Sometimes that's all it takes, lol! As I've said before, I want to get away from faceless male protagonists, but I'm also trying to level up my artwork lately by getting better at drawing more challenging things. I worked sooooo hard on this. I can't even tell you how hard I worked on this. And some parts of it hold up really well, but... I really don't like other parts of it! Maybe that's why it only got a kind of so-so reaction. Sometimes I think about doing a part 2, although it would be tough to keep it up in this captions format.  BTW! I made this series when I was working on a (purposeful) major shift in my art style, and so I struggled with it a lot, and I have some pretty mixed feelings about it now. I kind of went nuts with the outfit variants on this set. Every time I go to upload this someplace new, I think, "why did I do this?" But I really like all the outfits! And obviously the mind control variant was absolutely essential. I never learned my lesson, either, since I ALSO added a Dead By Daylight variant (her STARS uniform + his RE5 outfit, their defaults in DBD) for at least one of the images, lol. I really, really still like this set. But I also feel like it's the most tragic. As I've said before, it's important to me to start moving away from faceless male characters in porn and I really, really wish I was working on that back then, too. I would have loved to get his handsome face in there. Well, coulda, woulda, shoulda! I draw his face better now I think than I used to anyways, so maybe I wouldn't like this set as much now if I'd drawn his face in back then. ...
