It's funny: a lot of times people on reddit will get mad at me for something totally unrelated (like I stood up for Palestinians or something) and bring out the fact that I'm a hentai artist like it's some kind of "gotcha!" Like I'll be worried and embarrassed if they point that out, even though I'm clearly commenting on non-porn stuff on my regular porn account because I don't have anything to hide, lol. A lot of them will say, specifically, "Oh yeah? Well you make hentai for a living!" even though I make basically no money on this at all (support links are in the sidebar, though, if you wanna help fix that ehehe 😄) It feels like a compliment, like they're saying, "you're so good at art, you must be making a living doing this." They can't even deny my skill, even if they're saying they think it's a profession of ill repute. But I guess shaming a hentai artist on the worst hentai website like rule34[dot]xxx ...

I actually don't know when I finished this piece. I didn't release it publicly very many places. I posted it to reddit a couple times, but it'd be a pain to try to find the first time I posted it there, and that wasn't necessarily around the same time I finished it. Paid supporters get access to all my work, including stuff that falls through the cracks for my public galleries, like this one kind of did, at least until I started this blog! ( patreon / subscribestar / fanbox ). Relax, sis. It's just something we're doing for attention ❤️. I mean, it's kinda trashy, sure, but that's what gets attention. Look, you came to me, with your dorky glasses and your ugly sweaters and asked how you can get people to notice you. This is how you do it! It doesn't mean anything. What if it feels good?  Sometimes I'm tempted to think that these people are all like edgy 15 year-olds, and they don't fully understand what they're doing, but for a 15 year old to talk like this isn't less disturbing to me. You should never, ever think it's okay to approach someone like this.

The comments I used to leave on artworks for rule 34 (before I ended up quitting that website due to the constant harassment) were things like "She looks super hot!" and "I love this character!" Sometimes I might get a little kinky, stuff like "I love losers like this who let me tell them they're losers 💓," things like that. I n e v e r commented things like "I want to RP this" or "I wish that was me!" and in fact, I started adding an adendum to all of my comments that I did not want anyone to DM me their fantasies. Still, I would get guys in my DMs insisting that just by participating in the community at all I was somehow inviting these kinds of messages. To top it all of, the mods turned against me for trying to protect myself. Let me know if you want to see that whole story someday.

Actually one of the very few artworks I've ever done of Jill Valentine! I think besides this, I've only ever done sketches (sketches are mostly only available to paid subscribers, see the sidebar for links!) Poor Jill. I've been told by some of these guys that they actually just believe that women enjoy receiving these messages out of the blue. I shouldn't need to explain why that's not true, but suffice to say that most people who are actually successful in their interactions with other people build up friendships and regular ERP partners and they don't need to spam every single woman they run across indiscriminately.    

I get so much crap for this piece! I'll need to make a separate post about that! With Claire, everything was easy. She had a mischievous streak, sure, but it was an important part of, not a subtraction to, her loving and supportive nature. In her presence, Leon felt warm and supported, even while she was doing degrading things like making him worship her feet, or even better, rubbing him off with them. Ada, on the other hand, sometimes acted like she didn't care about him at all. During their little play sessions, she was course, mean, and aloof, but she's come to his rescue so many times when it really mattered that he knows she does care, even if she can't usually show it. Try as he might, he could never explain why both appealed to him pretty much equally.

I guess to some degree I kiiiinda understand assuming that hentai artists are always drawing their own fantasies? I don't really think about story creation that way, but I guess I kinda understand where they're coming from when they ask me. I do NOT understand why they think it would be okay, ever, even if I do want to explore those kinks, to just start unprompted talking about kidnapping me? It's really brain-dead stuff. And why do they always assume I want to be the kidnapped person and not the kidnapper? Just because it's a guy doing the kidnapping and I'm a woman? I can sympathize with male characters too, you know. Like duh.
